About The Tech Team Our global Tech team operates in an agile manner within a dynamic product organization. THE PRODUCT(S) YOU WILL WORK ON / THE TEAM YOU WILL WORK WITH The discussion about the Product/Team will take place as part of the People Engagement Process and throughout the Onboarding phase.

What Is Expected Of You The Workplace Engineer manages projects to integrate new technologies and recommend changes that support the Business to meet Company goals. His/ Her primary responsibilities include:

  • Optimizing, troubleshooting, and managing our Mac/iOS environment, Mac/iOS device management (Intune).
  • M365 administration  (e.g., Azure AD, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft Admin Portals).
  • Teams video conferencing setup with Cisco hardware integration (e.g., Cisco Webex, Teams Pro portal and Cisco devices).
  • Build required technical components for a product (“increments”), working in strong collaboration with the squad to select best-suited options for the feature/product, based on business needs and global standards (architecture, QA...)
  • Drive technical study & feature/product design, develop relevant elements (incl. prototyping, programming...)
  • Manage technical components testing (including test scenarii & acceptance criteria definition...)
  • Oversee the roll-out of technical elements, to ensure effective integration within PR tech landscape
  • Document all relevant technical information related features/products, to smooth knowledge transfer to relevant teams (delivery, proximity...), share technical insights as needed
  • Drive the maintenance & continuous improvement of features/products, based on evolving tech/business needs/trends
  • Manage critical incidents with developed elements, from issue identification to problem resolution
  • Oversee processes such as upgrading/patching... as needed (infrastructure changes...)
  • Monitor key metrics to identify needs for improvement, and engage the design/redesign of features with the squad
  • Provide insights on solutions/services associated with designed elements as needed (in coordination with Configuration Specialists, Service delivery team...), and contribute to initiatives aiming to maximize product adoption
  • Provide engineering best practices & bring forward new ways of thinking to improve outcomes (peer reviews, coaching...)
  • Participate in transversal engineering initiatives (market intelligence, cross-product/family initiatives...) as needed, and continuously develop their own skills based on industry trends/enterprise needs

YOUR TEAM

  • Reporting Line (direct/indirect): Modern Workplace Engineering Chapter lead (coordinate on defining comprehensive reference frameworks)
  • Key internal stakeholders: Product Owner, Other squad members (collaborate as part of the same agile squad), Other Squads (e.g. IAM), Other Chapter members (participate in transversal engineering initiatives, share best practices), Service Delivery Team (collaborate on projects and incident resolution)
  • Key external stakeholders: Vendors

YOUR AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE The extent of knowledge and expertise will be discussed within the People Engagement Process and throughout the Onboarding phase.

Technical Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Cloud Printer Management of advantage
  • Knowledge of Videconferencing systems, hardware and software
  • Knolwedge in SCCM/MECM
  • Good knowledge of Autopilot
  • L3 Ticket Management: Skilled in handling complex support tickets
  • Experience working within a global enterprise on deploying and supporting global projects

Functional Skills

  • Strong technical background, with deep expertise in platform workplace engineering
  • Good understanding of tech standards & components(from architecture to ITIL)
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to talk with both technical & non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaboration & teamwork, with the ability to work in an agile development environment
  • Good industry knowledge and insights into key challenges for the domain/family
  • Fluent level of English both written and spoken
