We’re seeking a SHIPPING CLERK to join our team in Port Alberni.

How You’ll Contribute

  • Manage all shipping and receiving activities for inbound and outbound materials.
  • Conduct quality checks and audits to ensure outgoing shipments meet company standards.
  • Track shipments, verify receipts, and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
  • Develop and maintain a daily shipment schedule to optimize material flow.
  • Review and approve freight charges and invoices, escalating discrepancies as needed.
  • Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to confirm shipping details and resolve issues.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of logistics or supply chain experience.
  • Experience in aviation or manufacturing (an asset).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to quickly learn new logistics and shipment management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to perform repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs. and follow safe handling practices.
  • A team-oriented mindset and commitment to company values and ethics.
