About the role
Industrial Electrician Overview Our Client, a leading global automotive parts manufacturer is seeking a Certified Industrial Electrician (442A) to join its manufacturing operations team.

Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and electrical systems.
- Apply strong PLC programming and automation knowledge (Mitsubishi preferred) to resolve production issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance, complete documentation, and recommend system improvements.
- Install, modify, and maintain plant wiring, ensuring compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code.
- Support and lead electrical projects, coordinating with internal teams and external contractors.
- Work with robotics, vision systems, VFD drives, servo drives, DeviceNet, and Profibus.
- Provide input on electrical design improvements and new technology adoption.
- Lead or support large-scale maintenance projects.
- Work rotating shifts; overtime and occasional heavy lifting required.
Qualifications
- Certified Industrial Electrician (442A) in Ontario, with at least 2+ years of certification.
- Minimum 3 years of electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong PLC programming experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens; Mitsubishi an asset).
- Experience with high voltage systems (up to 600V).
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics as related to electrical controls.
- Experience with robotics, automation, vision systems, and servo systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to plan, manage, and lead projects.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
