About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Planner reporting to the Maintenance Planning Team Leader to help us execute our BRP equipment maintenance plans. In this role, you will have a major impact in optimizing the management of our assets.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Participate in the introduction of new equipment with the aim of influencing their development, ensure operation by determining the needs for spare parts and insurance as well as the accessibility of technical documentation.

Develop, write, review preventive interventions for assets while determining the frequencies, resources and estimated times necessary. Negotiate, order and schedule predictive, preventive and corrective actions planned with production/maintenance/subcontracting.

Interpret technical reports and recommend interventions following predictive analyzes on assets (oil analysis, vibration analysis, thermography).

Ensure interventions, document, complete, send and archive government forms for mandatory environmental and regulatory declarations

Ensure the operational safety of equipment in terms of reliability, maintainability, availability and security; in-depth technical analysis of unforeseen breakdowns, compilation of the distribution of interventions and sharing of information with Industrial Engineering. Work with the various IE departments as a maintenance representative to propose safe solutions for improving assets with regard to design, accessibility and efficiency.

Carry out the technical drafting of spare parts to add to the inventory

Provide technical assistance to manpower in relation to recognized and effective concepts and working methods.

Maintain the technical documentation database and the CMMS (IT Guide) up to date to ensure the monitoring of the equipment in place during its useful life until its disposal

Monitor assets at the end of their useful life in the sustainability plan and provide justification for replacement needs.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

D.E.C. in Industrial Maintenance Technology.

Have good knowledge of the operation of maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of English & French both orally and in writing (4/5).

Be committed to improving equipment reliability.

Have great attention to detail and great analytical skills.

Have ease in putting together reports, graphical analysis and presentations.

Have the ability to adapt, communicate, work in a team and collaborate.

Be agile and flexible in change.

Knowledge of standards, laws/obligations relating to equipment and buildings is a very big asset
