Apprentice Warehouse Storekeeper

THE HOURLY RATE 37,91$

The position is based in Nunavik and follows a rotational work schedule of 4 paid weeks: 2 working weeks (77 hours per week, 7 days a week), followed by 2 paid weeks off.

Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Apprentice supports daily warehouse operations.
- Receiving, inspecting, and storing materials;
- Verifying received goods against purchase orders and shipping documents;
- Recording inventory transactions in the inventory management system;
- Assisting with inventory counts and reporting discrepancies;
- Preparing and delivering materials to internal customers;
- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe warehouse and storage areas;
- Following company health and safety policies and procedures;
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
- Interest in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations;
- Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 45 lbs;
- Class 5 driver's license (territorial accepted).
Assets
- Familiarity with the TI Guide;
- Knowledge of mining products;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Able to communicate orally and written in at least two of the following languages: Inuktitut, English or French (trilingual will be considered an asset).

- Ability to work with a diverse and multicultural team.
- Autonomy, dynamism, positivity, respect, teamwork, and versatility.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good physical condition.
