Sommaire du poste Chef de file dans l’estampage et la fabrication métallique depuis plus de 75 ans à Montréal, Tripar est à la recherche d’un Dessinateur technique créatif, rigoureux et orienté vers les détails afin de se joindre à son équipe. Relevant du Directeur de l’ingénierie, le Dessinateur technique jouera un rôle clé dans le développement et l’amélioration des produits manufacturés en réalisant des dessins techniques 2D et 3D, des modèles solides, des prototypes ainsi que des conceptions prêtes pour la production. Ce rôle collabore étroitement avec les équipes des ventes, du service à la clientèle, de la production, des achats, de l’ingénierie et de l’outillage afin de soutenir l’innovation, le développement de produits et l’efficacité manufacturière. Nous recherchons une personne proactive et innovatrice possédant de solides aptitudes techniques, de la créativité, un grand souci du détail ainsi qu’une approche orientée vers les solutions.

As a leader in metal stamping and metal fabrication for over 75 years located in Montreal, Tripar is looking for a creative and detail-oriented technical drafter to join our team. Reporting to the Engineering Director, the technical drafter will play a key role in the development and improvement of manufactured products by creating 2D and 3D technical drawings, solid models, prototypes, and production-ready designs.
This role works closely with Sales, Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, Engineering, and the Toolroom to support innovation, product development, and manufacturing efficiency. We are looking for a proactive and innovative individual with strong technical abilities, creativity, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented mindset. Tripar was founded in Montreal in 1949 by brothers Ben & David Sevack and has remained a family-run company. Tripar went into its second generation of the Sevack family when Ben’s son Lloyd, P.Eng, joined in 2001. Lloyd’s daughter Lauren joined the company in 2013, bringing three generations of the Sevack family into the company.
Over the years, Tripar have progressed from a small stamping job shop in downtown Montreal to a 67,500 sq.ft. facility offering a full range of metal stamping and fabrication capabilities. Our foundation is in metal stamping, notably progressive stamping, and drawing & deep drawing, capitalizing on our inventory of over 1,600 dies and over 100 state-of-the-art presses (up to 200 tons). In the last 15 years, Tripar has invested in a range of additional metal fabrication equipment, including an Amada CNC laser, CNC press breaks, a multitude of PEM insertion machines, spot welders, and in early 2018, a state-of-the-art CNC workhorse; a punch press/laser combination machine. This progression is due to the fact that Tripar always strives to employ the best practices and offer our clients optimal quality, design assistance, manufacturing and delivery, all at competitive prices to allow OEMs the best chances to succeed in highly competitive markets.
