About the role
POSITION DETAILS
- Pipeline and facility construction
- Candidates must be local to SE Saskatchewan (Carlyle, Estevan, and Weyburn)
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Help coordinate activities with the Project Supervisors to ensure effective utilization of personnel and equipment
- Provide direct and indirect supervision for a team in all aspects of the project (from kick off to completion)
- Attends and participates in various meetings such as monthly safety meetings, pre-job and tailgate meetings. Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed
- Work with equipment operators and civil crew to complete grade and excavation work
- Correct unsafe acts and bring unsafe conditions to the attention of the immediate supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education
- Must have valid H2S Alive and Standard First Aid tickets
Experience
- Previous pipeline experience an asset
Skills, knowledge, & Abilities
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Detail oriented with a mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work outside in extreme weather
