SENIOR BRANCH MANAGER

THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client, a highly respected player in the building materials distribution industry, is seeking an experienced leader to take on the Sr. Branch Manager role at one of their cornerstone branch locations in the GTA. This is a well-established business with a strong operational foundation, consistent growth, and a clear commitment to customer service. With low staff turnover and a stable team in place, this is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact leadership role within a proven and respected organization.
The Sr. Branch Manager will take full responsibility for the performance of the location, overseeing operations, people, fleet, and support sales & customer experience. They will play a central role in driving efficiency, maintaining high service standards, and supporting continued growth.
THE ROLE
Reporting to senior leadership, the Sr. Branch Manager is responsible for the operations, profitability, and overall performance of the branch. This includes managing day-to-day operations, leading the team, and ensuring a high level of service and execution across all functions.
Oversee operations, including; order processing, delivery execution, ensuring that all material movement in and out of the branch is accurate and efficient. Oversee inventory control, branch transfers, and regular audits to maintain accuracy and turnover, while ensuring that fleet, including vehicles and equipment, is properly maintained and used effectively. Lead, develop, and manage branch personnel, including hiring, onboarding, and ongoing performance management, with a focus on coaching, development, and addressing performance gaps where needed. (Team of 30+) Maintain a safe and compliant working environment across the branch while delivering a consistently high standard of customer service and communication. Financial oversight including approving branch-level purchasing and managing expenses with a focus on cost control. Full P&L ownership. Work closely to support the sales team, ensuring alignment with customer needs and contribute to growth initiatives that support both operational and commercial objectives. Maintain a high standard of organization, cleanliness, and overall presentation across the branch, along with ensuring that all regulatory and operational requirements are consistently met.

Experience
5+ years of experience of hands-on branch management, operations, or distribution management Sales support leadership to the outside sales teams and group initiatives including some key customer facing responsibility Experience within building materials, industrial distribution, or a related sector is preferred Proven ability to lead teams of 20+ and manage performance in a fast-paced environment Strong operational and commercial awareness

Salary Disclosure Ontario
Base Salary $125,000 - $140,000 + Bonus + Benefits + RRSP Matching + Car Program
