About the role

Contract opportunity in the insurance industry focused on reviewing and updating IT clauses in MSAs, SOWs, and amendments. Work on-site three days a week at a global headquarters in Toronto. Responsibilities:

  • Review existing contracts (e.g., MSAs, SOWs, amendments) to ensure inclusion of required IT clauses.
  • Manage a centralized contract review inbox; assign and prioritize incoming requests.
  • Draft or assist in updating contract amendments and SOWs.
  • Support the organization and coordination of team contract activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement, vendor risk, and legal frameworks.
  • Leverage Microsoft Office Suite to draft, edit, and manage documentation.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • 8–10 years of experience in IT contract review and management.
  • Demonstrated experience with IT contract clauses—reading, writing, and interpreting within MSAs, SOWs, and amendments.
  • Background in the financial or insurance sector.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, vendor management, and third-party risk.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other Office tools.
  • Legal background and contract negotiation experience are considered assets.
