Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Screw Pile Installer Assistant role based in Edmonton, AB. The Screw Pile Installer Assistant supports the installation crew with the setup, operation, and breakdown of helical screw pile equipment on residential, commercial, and industrial job sites. Daily tasks include loading and unloading materials, positioning and securing metal posts, assisting with equipment operation under supervision, and helping measure, mark, and verify pile locations. The role also involves general labor duties such as site preparation, cleanup, and safe material handling, as well as following safety procedures, maintaining tools, and communicating effectively with the lead installer and team. Qualifications Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working around installation equipment and tools (e.g., skid steers, augers, hand tools). Understanding of construction site safety practices and willingness to follow company safety policies and procedures. Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to take direction and support experienced installers. Reliable transportation to Edmonton Shop, transportation to job sites is done in company vehicle and flexibility to work standard construction hours. Must to be able to travel out of town for work. Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or related trades is an asset. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are preferred. High school diploma or equivalent; additional trade or safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, WHMIS, fall protection) are beneficial.
