Why is this role important?
CIHI is strengthening client access to data and services by enhancing access management, improving client support and streamlining processes to deliver a seamless, efficient user experience. The Client Access and Engagement team plays a key role in advancing this vision by supporting clients in navigating CIHI’s products and services, strengthening relationships and ensuring seamless access to data.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to a range of activities that support and enhance the client experience, including engagement, onboarding, access management and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will help advance CIHI’s approach to client-centric service delivery and support the ongoing modernization of how clients interact with CIHI’s data and reporting platforms.
What you'll do
The student will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of projects and operational activities. Activities may include:

Supporting the external user access audit, including the production and dissemination of documentation being used to review and validate access permissions.

Assisting with updates and maintenance of the department SharePoint sites and process documentation identifying opportunities for efficiency and optimizing resources using AI.

Supporting updates to Electronic Service Agreements (ESAs), including documentation review and coordination.
-
Assisting with the preparation of materials for stakeholder communication and engagement activities.
-
Supporting additional activities across the Client Access, Engagement and Systems department as required.
What you'll bring to the table
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Health Information Management, Health Sciences, Information Management, Public Administration or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills and organizational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience using SharePoint, Docusign and AI Productivity Tool (eg. ChatGPT) an asset.
