What You’ll Do:
As the manager for Medcan’s new Bloor and Islington location, the Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that centrally run programs and services are executed exceptionally at ground level and tailored to local market needs to maximize site potential. This will include execution and compliance with brand and hospitality standards, providing onsite presence to deliver quality service, supporting client escalations, and serving as Medcan’s ambassador in the local community.
Responsibilities:
This is a full-time and on-site position working 40 hours per week based on business needs between 8 AM – 5 PM (Tue / Thu) and 9 AM – 6 PM (Mon / Wed / Fri). The Bloor and Islington location is conveniently located at 3250 Bloor St W and is connected to the TTC.

Service Excellence: Ensure excellent service and personalized hospitality across all areas within the Bloor location (Membership, Restore, Refine, etc.).

Team Leadership: Lead a cross-functional team of 10+ to localize and tailor services to optimize performance. Focus on performance management, process development, training, and optimizing clinic flows. Facilitate daily huddles and team meetings to ensure connectivity across the teams supporting Bloor.

Drive Revenue and Profitability: Drive revenue by working with sales teams and ensuring on-site employees are motivated, trained, and incentivized. Drive value by building local community relationships to raise brand awareness, secure new clients, cross-sell to existing clients, and ensure client retention.

Strategic Growth and Financial Management: Develop and execute new strategies under the guidance of the VP Expansion and COO to succeed in the healthcare market. Facilitate financial management, including site-level P&L oversight, budgeting, and forecasting.

Performance Updates : Present updates on clinic performance and initiatives to Medcan’s executive leadership team

Client Experience : Responsible for client experience across Bloor: personalize the experience, ensure effortless flow, and create a relaxing and inspiring environment. Maximize client satisfaction, mining and applying actionable insights from ongoing client experience measurement (e.g., NPS and Client Satisfaction surveys).

Brand Standards: Ensure alignment and coordination with brand standards

Maintenance Management: Actively manage maintenance needs and adherence standards.

Lounge Areas: Monitor and ensure lounge/waiting areas provide the best client experience.

Workplace Environment (both Clinic and SG&A): Support in-clinic teams and corporate SG&A to ensure an optimal workplace environment.
Experience and Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience of proven success in a leadership role within a clinical or healthcare setting, ideally a multi-disciplinary clinic or health unit.

Experience with high-end wellbeing services and a deep focus on client service, as an asset.

Experience in sales, operations, and/or hospitality service
-
Executive presence for client-facing for escalations and/or internal leadership updates
-
Strong collaborator and able to work with teams cross-functionally to influence decisions.

Analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment when making decisions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex functions) and Salesforce, as an asset.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Health, Health Administration, Nursing, or a similar field; MBA is an asset.

Strong communication and time management skills.
