The Dispatcher is responsible for ensuring work is dispatched in a timely and efficient manner to all Technicians, to ensure shop productivity is at optimal levels. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
To champion OpenRoad’s Climate Goals. Dispatch work to the service technicians in order to maximize shop production and efficiency. Coordinate the work flow through the detail department. Open, dispatch, and invoice new car PDI work orders. Assist Service Advisors with invoicing. Handle customers inquiries promptly and accurately, listen to vehicle concerns and write repair orders. Other duties may be assigned at the direction of the Service Manager. Work to improve dealership CSI and general customer satisfaction in accordance with OpenRoad’s philosophies, policies and procedures. Must follow company safety policies and practices, and immediately, report any and all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor. This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management. OpenRoad reserves the right to modify this job description as business needs require. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to maintain records and prepare reports using a computerized equipment maintenance system. Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the organization. Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with the essential job functions. Ability to operate assigned equipment. Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions. A valid British Columbia driver’s license, with a clean driving record. Able to work in a fast paced environment Basic technical knowledge of vehicles to determine proper job allocation. Ability to work effectively against deadlines. Previous Reynolds and Reynolds experience preferred.
