What you'll build
We are looking for a (Mid to Senior) AI Product Owner who can drive value creation through impactful AI-powered products and services across SAP. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to shape, deliver, and scale AI solutions that enhance productivity and deliver business value across processes in Go-to-market operations, e.g., Lead to Cash
In this role, you will own the AI product lifecycle, from discover and prioritization to delivery and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers to shape AI use cases that create measurable business impact. You’ll define and ensure that product roadmaps align with SAP’s AI strategy, balance user needs with technical feasibility and maintain transparency and agile execution throughout delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to delivery and continuous improvement
- Define, prioritize and maintain the AI product backlog and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic themes
- Translate business needs into clear product requirements and measurable value metrics
- Collaborate with engineering, data and design teams to deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions
- Drive incremental value realization through iterative development and feedback loops
- Promote AI adoption and excellence by aligning on product vision, roadmap, and success criteria
- Engage and align stakeholders to ensure transparency, buy-in and outcome-driven delivery
- Apply agile and SAFe principles to coordinate cross-functional delivery teams and synchronize with dependent programs
What you bring
- Degree in computer science or a similar field
- At least 7 years proven experience in product ownership or product management (being at least 2 years in AI related products), data or similar digital products
- Solid understanding of AI solution lifecycles, from proof of concept to production
- Strong analytical and communication skills to translate business objectives into actionable delivery plans
- Hands-on experience in designing, developing and operating production ready AI Solution
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, trends, and product development lifecycles
- Experience with agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) and project management tools (e.g., Jira)
- Fluent English and a proactive, problem solving mindset
- Nice to have but not a must
- Knowledge of agentic AI and generative AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI)
- Familiarity with SAP ecosystem and enterprise AI governance tools and frameworks
- Certifications with cloud and data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Databricks)
- Understanding of go-to-market (Lead-to-Cash) business operations & processes with strong awareness of how AI use cases can drive transformational change in this domain.
