Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Intermediate Data Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in data analysis who is ready to take on more complex projects and contribute to strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for creating reports, interpreting the data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights that support business goals.
Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and communicate KPIs in collaboration with the customer and internal stakeholders
- Establish and communicate data requirements for Bayside’s operations
- Design and implement dashboards that meet business needs and promote data-driven decision-making
- Query SQL databases to support reporting and analytics
- Collaborate with operations teams to identify and implement improvements in daily management, performance tracking, and implement data backed decisions
- Coordinate with IT and warehouse management software providers to implement fixes and enhancements
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in a data analytics role or business intelligence, ideally in manufacturing or logistics.
- Postsecondary education in Data Science and Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience designing and implementing reporting solutions using Tableau or similar visualization tools
- Experience working with data engineers and data scientists
- Strong SQL skills and experience querying relational databases
- Experience defining and communicating KPIs to business stakeholders
- Experience working with physical warehouse management software is an asset
- Experience with AVEVA, CSNx, JD Edwards, and MS Power Automate is an asset
- Experience with data integrations is an asset
