The Head of Enterprise Services, Canada is responsible for leading the growth, strategy, and operational delivery of the Enterprise Services (ES) business (including Managed Equipment Services) across Canada. The role combines commercial leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to position Siemens Healthineers as a trusted partner in delivering integrated, value-based healthcare solutions. As a key member of the leadership team, the Head of Enterprise Services, Canada will lead, and develop high-performing teams, foster a culture of accountability and innovation. With full Profit & Loss accountability, this role drives revenue growth, expands market presence, and ensures the successful execution of innovative service offerings that deliver strong customer outcomes. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to align commercial and operational priorities, ensuring delivery excellence, regulatory compliance, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the Enterprise Services (ES) Canada growth strategy and partnerships by analyzing current state of the business, identifying risks and opportunities, and developing go-to-market plans specific to the country. Enable the growth of the ES Canadian business through the identification of new growth opportunities, unique customer partnerships and development of business plans to support the Canada ES P&L goals by leveraging understanding of the current healthcare environment and SHS portfolio of products and services Identify and lead strategic initiatives such as Value Partnerships as well as enabling growth within Canada. Maintain a strong prospect pipeline and provide regular forecasts, ensuring a high level of accuracy. Ensure operational delivery meets or exceeds financial forecasts while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including those beyond the current portfolio or Business Area. Proactively evolve the Enterprise Services portfolio to address and stimulate market demand. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers. Collaborate with DX, Varian, and IM sales teams, as well as the NAM Enterprise Services team, to engage public and private sector customers and pursue new business opportunities. Lead the development of high-quality, competitive tender responses and business proposals, aligned to customer timelines. Design and deliver compelling customer presentations, solution concepts, and demonstrations. Provide high-quality sales collateral to the sales team in various formats (e.g., brochures, presentations). Lead sales negotiations while maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Develop, negotiate, and manage the annual Enterprise Services budget, including monthly forecast reviews. Maintain strong product knowledge and ensure adherence to quality assurance (QA) and compliance procedures. Ensure the team is appropriately resourced to support both pre- and post-sales activities. Represent the organization at congresses and customer events, contributing to event concept development and delivering presentations or lectures. Foster strong, two-way communication with internal sales teams, the NAM Enterprise Services team, and Business Area/Line development teams to optimize the sales and product portfolio. This includes sharing customer feedback and market insights.
Qualifications
15+ years of healthcare operations leadership experience; sales and business development experience is beneficial Minimum a relevant Bachelor's degree Strong technical understanding of the Enterprise Services portfolio and solutions and Canadian consulting market Deep knowledge of the Canadian medical device market and public sector procurement processes Strategic, innovative, and lateral thinker with the ability to approach challenges creatively Proven ability to plan and organize effectively to deliver against both short- and long-term objectives Strong numerical and commercial acumen Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly developed interpersonal and relationship management skills Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams effectively within a matrix environment by empowering managers and individual contributors Advanced sales and negotiation capabilities Confident presenter, with the ability to engage large audiences Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities Bilingual in French and English considered an asset Who we are: We are a team of more than 72,000 highly dedicated Healthineers in more than 70 countries.
