Force Inspection Services is a leading oilfield asset and tubular management and services company to the upstream oil and gas industry. Its core business revolves around drill pipe, drill tools, sucker rods, casing and production tubing, coating services, and tubular products for production and completion. Force’s services include in-plant and mobile inspection, repair, machining, and manufacturing.
We are seeking motivated and adaptable General Labourers to support various areas of our operations, including inspection, yard, field, and manufacturing processes. This role involves performing a variety of tasks to assist with physical inspections, pipe handling duties, equipment maintenance and general operational duties. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the flexibility to take on diverse responsibilities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist inspectors and operators with physical inspections, defect detection, and general processes.
- Operate various hand tools and power tools as required.
- Perform cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs on equipment and tools.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Support shippers and receivers with coordination of materials during job progress.
- Count, identify, and handle tubular products and manufactured goods.
- Load and unload pallets and parts from light-duty trucks and other vehicles.
- Travel and work locally or in field locations as required by business needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with Force Inspection’s Health & Safety program and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- High School diploma or GED is preferred.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in an oilfield related industry, manufacturing or construction environment.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- H2S Alive and First Aid certifications are an asset.
- Strong English reading and writing skills to ensure accurate understanding of instructions, safety
- procedures, and documentation.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability to perform a range of tasks.
Special Conditions
- Ability to work in extreme outdoor temperatures and various weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel and work locally or in the field to meet business requirements.
- As Force Inspection Services operates 24/7, a willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts is required.
- Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting and handling materials.

Force Inspection Services Inc. is a Canadian privately owned company headquartered in Leduc, a city located 33 kilometers south of Edmonton, Alberta. The company specialises in the inspection, repair and storage of oilfield tubulars with two inspection facilities located in Leduc and Grande Prairie, Alberta. In addition to in-plant inspection, Force also provides mobile field services and repairs including bottom-hole assembly (“BHA”) inspection, transverse electromagnetic (“EMI”) drill pipe inspection, refacing and straightening. Force was established in June 2003, in Leduc, AB. In 2009 Force opened a second inspection facility located in Grande Prairie, AB, in order to expand their market share. In addition to in-plant inspection, Force also provides mobile field services and repairs through a fleet of mobile inspection units.
