Clerk Secretary Receptionist - Finance

The RDKB is currently seeking applications for a temporary casual Clerk Secretary Receptionists to join the Trail Finance team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this position provides reception duties and assists with clerical and accounting support. This position also provides administrative support for the Columbia Basin Trust ReDi Grant Program.

To be considered for this opportunity candidates must possess the following:
- High School Graduation supplemented with one-year post-secondary business administration and accounting courses or equivalent accounting experience
- Fifty words per minute or more typing speed
- Training and experience in a computerized account environment, preferably in a local government setting
- Ability to operate in a networked computer environment with knowledge of contemporary office equipment, document and point of sale applications
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven ability to deal with the public with tact and courtesy
- Established ability to obtain the accuracy expectations commensurate with an account position
- Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License

Position Information

Hours of work: 0-37.5 hour per week, to provide staff coverage and support additional work demands
Union: CUPE Local 2254
Compensation: $34.37/hour (2025) plus 10% in lieu of benefits
