The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly organized Director of Product Marketing to lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of major integrated campaigns and product launches across Merrithew’s equipment, education, and subscription offerings.
This role will serve as the internal quarterback, bringing discipline, clarity, and alignment to how we take products and education to market. You’ll work across functions to ensure our launches and campaigns reflect our brand’s commitment to innovation, excellence, and community, while also driving measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Integration & Go-to-Market Leadership
- Lead the strategic planning, and execution of multi-channel, integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, media, events, and content platforms.
- Act as the internal quarterback ensuring alignment across Creative, Digital, Content, Sales, Product, and Education teams to deliver cohesive, impactful campaigns.
- Foster an omni-channel approach to ensure messaging and tactics are unified across the customer journey.
- Drive a shift from product-first to customer- and community-first marketing, with messaging rooted in audience needs and motivations.
- Manage campaign goals, KPIs, target audiences, channel strategies, and reporting.
- Mentor and support marketing team members, empowering them to grow and deliver high-impact work.
- Marketing Operations & Process Optimization
- Elevate the marketing operations processes to increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability as Merrithew’s marketing efforts expand.
- Lead the development of future-state workflows, governance, tools, and documentation that enable marketing excellence.
- Identify gaps and opportunities in the current state and establish processes that support scalable campaign planning, resource allocation, and execution.
- Ensure the marketing function is set up to deliver on increasing volume and complexity with clarity and accountability.
- Customer Insights & Voice of the Customer
- Lead efforts to gather, synthesize, and operationalize customer insights to inform campaign strategies, messaging, and go-to-market planning.
- Develop actionable documentation that captures the voice of the customer to ensure marketing strategies are rooted in real-world needs and expectations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance campaign relevance and impact through deep customer understanding.
Qualifications & Experience
- 12+ years of progressive marketing experience with a strong focus on product marketing, integrated campaigns, and go-to-market strategy.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional launches and omni-channel campaigns.
- Deep expertise in developing and executing strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels.
- Strong leadership and project management skills with a proven track record of aligning teams and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to synthesize customer insights into compelling messaging and campaigns.
- Skilled communicator with experience influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Nice to Have
- Experience in fitness, wellness, education, or digital subscription industries.
- Familiarity with global marketing operations and localization best practices.
