You manage technical and scientific professionals responsible for initiation and execution of programs. This is a leadership role in cross-functional teams and regularly interacts with RDQ and cross-functional senior management.
How you will contribute
You will lead regional and sub-regional teams to deliver on the quality strategy, providing sufficient resources and expertise to appropriate functions and locations. You will manage, lead, coach and develop a team of quality experts to execute regional and global quality programs, ensuring compliance with Mondelēz policies and procedures and adherence to external regional and local food safety/regulatory requirements in internal and external manufacturing locations and facilities. In this role, you will develop and report quality KPIs, applying your understanding of the impact regional KPIs have on the global business. In addition, you will facilitate communities of practice on quality related topics; represent the quality function at R&D meetings to ensure that sufficient resources and expertise are allocated to significant projects, and to ensure there are sufficient resources available so products meet design, food safety and quality policy requirements; identify quality enhancements and improvements across R&D and the supply chain; partner with technical groups such as food safety/micro and sanitation to ensure program compliance and enhancement, and; help manage special situations and early warnings with respect to plant investigations, root-cause analysis and follow-up for the SSMT, protecting Mondelēz’s interests and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:• Ability to develop a strategy, drive the implementation, and lead complaint reductions and resolution of consumer complaints across multiple sites. Responsible for the oversight of both brand and manufacturing facility consumer complaints to identify trends and ensure the proper improvement plans are identified and implemented. • Ensure audit preparedness for internal Mondelez quality/food safety compliance and external audit compliance (GFSI standards - FSSC 22000). • Assist with the building, reviewing, and monitoring of quality / food safety capital planning at the manufacturing site. • Participate in project and technical risk assessments and develop mitigation plans. Quality lead for commercialization projects ensuring products meet design, food safety, and quality policy requirements. • Ability to drive and improve quality standard work processes and tools for commercialization process.• Facilitate Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and lessons learned. Review and ensure the timely closure of corrective / preventive actions for consumer complaints, audits, risk assessment, etc. • Develop, implement, monitor, and continuously improve quality and food safety programs. • Provide leadership to drive quality programs with manufacturing and business partners in areas including: consumer inspired quality initiatives, compliance to specifications, statistical process controls, quality system management, integrated Lean Six Sigma, HACCP, and GMP’s.• Work with plant quality managers to develop the manufacturing facility’s Quality departments and capabilities.• Responsible for oversight of the weekly, and monthly key performance indicators (KPI).• Oversee corporate quality team members to guide, coach, and develop them in their role and career.
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
Job specific requirements:
Proven experience in Quality Assurance in the manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.• Minimum 10 years of related experience (operations, quality and/or R&D) with demonstrated technical and managerial ability.• Minimum 3 years of people management.• Experience in managing multiple locations and leading through influence.• Strong leadership and communication skills, experience in project management and risk assessment.• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, GFSI certifications, and quality standards.• If you are a results-driven leader with a passion for quality management, apply now to be a key player in driving excellence within our organization.
