What You’ll Get to Do The Shipping Loader/Unloader is focused on ensuring our customers get the quality product they need on time and reports to the Shipping Lead. This role is perfect for an individual who enjoys physical work, pays attention to detail and has experience with material loading . A vital member of the Shipping Team , this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Job responsibilities include:
- Coordinate with Shipping Lead on the shipment schedule for loading and order picking.
- Determine the best means for getting and loading the product. This could include the overhead crane, forklift, 4D lift, or pallet jack.
- Confirm that the number on the shipping documentation matches what is being loaded.
- Load the trailer in the manner which best suits the type of load. Be aware of not stacking too high and load in the least likely way for it to shift.
- Ensure the products are stacked properly so as not to fall and harm someone.
- At the end of the shift, check the aisles for debris and 5S the area.
