Senior Dynamics 365 Developer (Customization & Integration)
About the role
Location: Ottawa (Remote)
Duration: 24 months + possible extension
Security Clearance: Reliability
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Create and modify code, software, screens and reports to support business and system requirements
- Gather and analyze data to support technical and economic feasibility studies and contribute to functional and system design specifications
- Design methods and procedures for small computer systems and sub-systems of larger systems
- Develop, test and implement small computer systems and sub-systems of larger systems
- Produce forms, manuals, programs, data files and procedures for systems and applications -Perform data migration activities, including extracting and migrating data from existing solutions such as SQL Server databases into Dynamics 365 -Configure and integrate third-party add-ons with Dynamics solutions -Configure and manage Dynamics 365 entities, forms, views, workflows, plug-ins, web service and security permissions -Develop and maintain MS Portals components, including web pages and navigation menus -Provide training, demonstrations and knowledge transfer to clients and other developers
What You Bring to the Table:
- 5+ years' experience developing multiple projects in MS Dynamics 2016/365
- 7+ years of hands‑on experience developing MS Dynamics solutions using the Dynamics SDK, leveraging client-side JavaScript and/or server-side .NET/C# extensions
- 3+ years' experience developing projects using Power Apps Portals
- 3+ years' experience working with Azure DevOps, JIRA or similar tools as part of an Agile software development team
- 1+ years' experience using WET v 4.0.27 (or higher) to apply the Canada.ca theme with Power Apps Portals
- Demonstrated experience planning and delivering data migrations for MS Dynamics projects, involving multiple projects and data sources, using a variety of technologies such as Excel, XML, SQL Server and MySQL
- Demonstrated hands-on experience configuring and integrating Microsoft products (Exchange, Outlook, SharePoint) together with multiple Dynamics add-ins (DocuSign, Xpertdoc, North52)
- 2+ years' experience using Git code repositories
- 2+ years of experience using Azure DevOps within the last 3 years
- Hold at least one Microsoft certification related to Dynamics or Power Platform, such as Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate, Power Platform Developer Associate, Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (CRM or ERP) or Power Platform App Maker Associate
- Hold a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline
