Job Description

Housekeeping Aide – Extendicare Holyrood

Housekeeping Aide provides clean and safe service for Residents and co-workers. Reporting to the Support Service Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assumes responsibility under the supervision of the Support Service Supervisor.
  • Follow Departmental Policy and Procedures.
  • Good writing and verbal communication with other team members.
  • Timely completion of online courses.
  • Encourages and motivates positive work environment.
  • Participate in department meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge and experience in housekeeping duties.
  • Read, write and communicate fluently in English.
  • Physically capable of performing duties required in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work well with other team members.
  • Have critical thinking skills and be able to prioritize tasks.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and accept responsibility for delegated functions.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Start Date: To Be Determined

Employment is subject to criminal record check with vulnerable sector check as well as Tuberculosis testing.
