About The Opportunity Within UJA’s Integrated Development Department, the Manager, Corporate Partnerships will work under the direction of the Head of Corporate Partnerships and Sponsorships to engage corporate donors and sponsors in support of UJA’s mission.

This role will manage and grow a portfolio of partnerships, cultivating and stewarding new and existing corporate relationships across corporate donations, sponsorships, and gifts in-kind, with the goal of increasing revenue and deepening long-term relationships.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and grow the Corporate Partnerships portfolio through proactive cultivation and solicitation.
  • Executing the Corporate Partnership/Sponsorship Strategy
  • Build and steward relationships to encourage multi-year commitments and enhanced engagement.
  • Further develop the corporate tracking system.
  • Conduct due diligence on potential corporate partners to protect the UJA brand.
  • Collaborate with corporate leaders, senior volunteers, and internal teams to deliver on sponsorship agreements.
  • Create and maintain sponsorship opportunity frameworks and levels for use across departments and events.
  • Partner with Marketing, Events, and Finance to ensure seamless execution and fulfillment of partnership agreements.
  • Utilize Salesforce to gather, analyze, and maintain data, generating accurate reports as required.
  • Support event management and coordination, as needed.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely follow-up on all partnership activities.
  • Success will be demonstrated by growth in corporate revenue, expansion of the partnership base, and high satisfaction among partners.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree in fundraising, business/marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–5 years’ related experience in fundraising, business development, marketing, or corporate sponsorship.
  • Experience engaging and collaborating with senior executives, corporate donors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Passionate advocate and visible champion of UJA’s mission, values, and goals, inspiring others through action and unwavering commitment to advancing our shared purpose.
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and budgets.
  • Strategic thinker with sound judgment and maturity.
  • Enthusiastic, creative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail
  • Availability to work some nights and/or weekends
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the Toronto Jewish community and/or experience in Jewish Communal Service considered an asset
  • This is a full-time permanent position, Union Level 5.  At UJA we support a flexible work schedule and all of our employees engage in hybrid work. In addition to a rich time-off policy, UJA’s offices are closed on all Jewish holy days (yom tov) and we support early office closures to observe the Jewish Sabbath (Shabbat).
