Position Overview
The University of Toronto, in partnership with Sinai Health, invites applications for the position of Associate Full Professor, Chair in Rheumatoid Arthritis Excellence and Discovery. This position is a full-time, tenure-stream appointment.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct innovative research in the field of Rheumatoid Arthritis.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advance knowledge and treatment options.
- Mentor and supervise graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
- Contribute to teaching and curriculum development in the Department of Medicine.
Required Qualifications
- A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field.
- A strong record of research and publications in Rheumatoid Arthritis.
- Experience in securing research funding.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in clinical research and trials.
- Previous leadership experience in academic settings.
- A commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in research and teaching.
Additional Information
- The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the academic life of the University and the Sinai Health System.
