Growth, Sales & Marketing Lead — Canada (New Grad) Trademarkia · Vancouver, BC (Hybrid, ~monthly travel to the Bay Area) About the role Trademarkia is the largest online trademark filing service in the United States, with 125,000+ clients worldwide. We're now building Canada into our second home market — and we intend to become the #1 trademark filing service in the country. This is the person who owns that mission on the ground. This is a sales and growth role, not a support role. You'll be the central commercial point of contact for Canada: owning revenue, sales, business development, paid acquisition, and conversion-focused site design. Our Canadian trademark attorney (based in Halifax) stays focused on the legal filing work — you drive the business and bring in the revenue. You don't need years of experience. You need the right educational background, an AI-first mindset, and the ambition to grow with a company that's growing fast. If you want to build a market, own outcomes, and grow as the business grows, this is for you. The core of the job: sales and revenue growth Your primary mandate is revenue. Two motions drive it:

  1. Build new work from existing clients. We have roughly 800–1,000 clients across Canada who have already filed trademarks with us — in Canada and around the world. This is warm, high-value pipeline. Your job is to know exactly who they are, build genuine relationships with them, and become their trusted go-to contact for new trademark work as their businesses expand — new marks, new classes, new countries, renewals, and enforcement referrals. You'll use the AI outreach tools we've built to reach them at scale, backed by direct, personal, relationship-driven follow-up. You are the account owner and the point of contact — not the attorney. Turning our existing client base into repeat revenue is the single most important thing you'll do.
  2. Win new clients. Beyond the existing base, you'll build the acquisition engine that brings new Canadian filers in the door and grows the top line. Success in this role is measured in relationships built, new matters opened, and revenue grown. What you'll own Existing-client sales & account management. Own the full relationship with our 800–1,000 existing Canadian clients — outreach, follow-up, and converting them into new trademark work. Build a repeatable system for identifying who's ready for their next filing and getting in front of them first. New business development. Prospect, nurture, and close new Canadian clients. Own the pipeline end to end. Paid search. Own and control a Canadian Google Ads budget (~$5,000/month) end to end — strategy, targeting, spend, creative, and results. It's your budget and your number to grow. Conversion & site design. Help design and continuously improve our Canadian trademark site to out-convert the online filing competitors. Think hard about segmentation, geo-targeting, traffic sources, and localization, and act on it. Micro campaigns & segmented landing pages. Using AI, build hyper-targeted micro campaigns for Canadians who want to file trademarks — not only domestically, but in other countries like the United States, Mexico, France, and the UK. Each target market gets its own dedicated landing page and its own segmented campaign, localized so it feels native and relevant to that audience. Localization for a Canadian audience. Everything should feel Canadian — for both French-Canadian and English-Canadian users. Making the experience feel local and trustworthy is central to the goal. How the team works You'll work closely with our centralized marketing team, led out of the United States, syncing on strategy and reporting on what you've accomplished. Expect to fly to the Bay Area roughly once a month — occasionally every other week — to align on strategy and share results. Day to day, you run Canada. Who you are A recent college graduate with a background in marketing, sales, and/or business Genuinely energized by sales, relationship-building, and hitting revenue goals — you like talking to clients and closing AI-first — comfortable reaching out through modern AI methods and using AI tools to design, segment, and scale Ambitious, self-directed, and excited to build something and grow with it Comfortable being the central point of contact and owning outcomes end to end Bonus: French/English bilingual, or a strong appreciation for localizing to both audiences Why this role This is a build-with-us role for the right ambitious person. You'll have real ownership of a market from day one, a warm base of clients to grow, a budget to control, and a direct line to the results you produce. The goal is nothing less than becoming the largest trademark filing service in Canada — and you'll be at the center of getting us there. Compensation & growth CA$58,000–68,000, plus a performance/commission component tied to revenue that brings realistic OTE to roughly CA$75,000–90,000 for a strong performer.
