Job Summary The Senior Pricing Analyst will play a critical role in developing and implementing pricing strategies to optimize revenue and profitability across various business units and geographies. This position requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer value perception, and competitive pricing strategies. The Senior Pricing Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, Marketing and Operations to ensure pricing strategies align with the overall business objectives.
Responsibilities Understanding the Business
- Price optimization: Continuously analyze products and customers to assign them to correct tiers, optimizing margin and win rate.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed pricing reports and presentations on pricing performance and margin optimization.
- Pricing Strategy: Development: Develop and implement sophisticated, value-based pricing strategies to optimize prices across geographies and business units.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand pricing trends, competitive positioning, and customer value drivers.
- Customer Value Research: Conduct customer value research to refine pricing based on customer willingness-to-pay and market feedback.
Working Well With Others
- Standard pricing: Work with subject matter experts to define taxonomy and standard pricing for multiple business areas.
- Pricing Model Implementation: Work with IT to implement models in Salesforce, clean data and refine models in analytics software.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with all GBU and Subservice leaders to ensure pricing strategies are optimal for each given segment.
Delivering Results
- Taxonomy Maintenance: Continuously improve the accuracy and usability of taxonomy.
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct systematic reviews of the pricing models in place for future planning and pricing strategy adjustments.
- Financial Impact Assessment: Evaluate the financial impact of pricing strategies and provide recommendations to improve profitability.
Concern for Safety
- Complete all Health and safety training assigned and adopt a culture of safety
Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing analysis. Experience in a global business environment is a plus.
Skills
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI. Tableau, etc.), excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of pricing strategies, market dynamics, and customer value perception.
