Reporting to the Manager, Digital Workplace Services, the Digital Workplace Product Manager enhances the value and effectiveness of digital workplace products by understanding business needs, product capabilities, and user experience expectations. In this role you will work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to identify opportunities, gather and translate requirements, assess feasibility, and support solution design, testing, and validation. You will monitor vendor roadmaps, evaluate the impact of changes, and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives, communication, and learning efforts that support successful adoption of digital workplace tools.

Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain the roadmap for assigned M365 and digital workplace products.
- Monitor vendor roadmaps and identify impacts or opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for product enhancements or new capabilities.
- Lead requirements‑gathering activities such as interviews, workshops, and business engagement.
- Analyze and translate requirements into clear functional and non‑functional specifications.
- Capture and document user stories and backlog items.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine and prioritize backlog items based on business value.
- Support end‑to‑end delivery of digital workplace initiatives, from planning through implementation and operations.
- Contribute to delivery planning, milestone tracking, and coordination across business and technical teams.
- Assess solution feasibility and alignment with systems, standards, and architecture.
- Collaborate with technical teams on solution design and configuration.
- Support test case development and participate in validation activities.
- Validate delivered functionality against documented requirements.
- Analyze existing systems and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor product and solution performance and recommend improvements.
- Assess and manage vendor product updates to mitigate operational impacts.
- Support Incident and Problem Management for assigned products, including leading the incident management process and participating in the on‑call rotation.
- Facilitate IT change and configuration management processes.
- Lead or support communication and learning initiatives for product changes.
- Prepare product-related documentation (user guides, FAQs, configuration documentation, reports).
What you’ll bring to us:
- Bachelor’s Degree or completion of a post-secondary Diploma in Information Technology (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, or similar roles supporting digital workplace solutions.
- Experience with systems delivery methodologies including waterfall, iterative, and agile.
- Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Strong working knowledge of M365 products.
- Hands‑on experience supporting core Microsoft 365 digital workplace products, including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, MTR, and Copilot.
- Experience supporting or delivering migrations to SharePoint Online from SharePoint on‑premises and/or file shares (DFS).
- Experience with business analysis and design methodologies (IIBA‑aligned practices an asset).
- Cloud platform exposure or implementation experience is an asset.
- Utilities industry experience is an asset.
- Extensive experience producing business and technical documentation using Microsoft Office tools.

We plan ahead and expand the grid, ensuring the right transmission lines are built as efficiently as possible. As the province moves away from coal-fired power plants, we're enabling investment in renewable energy. In everything we do, our eye is always on the future.
