Role and Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions with Marketing, IT, and business stakeholders to analyze requirements for websites, branded landing pages, email templates, workflows, and custom modules.
- Architect, develop, and optimize HubSpot CMS features, including branded landing pages, dynamic pages, new custom modules, and reusable templates.
- Audit, streamline, and standardize existing HubSpot themes and modules to reduce technical debt and improve long-term maintainability.
- Empower the Marketing team by building self-serve, no-code/low-code capabilities for deploying and curating websites across the company’s portfolio.
- Guide the evolution of HubSpot CMS architecture, ensuring it aligns with business goals, digital brand standards, and growth initiatives.
- Maintain, customize, and extend functionality across the HubSpot CRM, CMS, and Marketing hubs using HubL, HubDB, APIs, and workflow automation.
- Collaborate closely with IT to integrate HubSpot with enterprise systems, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and secure design.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship on HubSpot best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of web development experience, with at least 3+ years hands-on in HubSpot CMS development.
- Proven track record delivering websites, branded landing pages, and reusable templates on HubSpot CMS (portfolio or examples required).
- Expertise in HubL, HubDB, HubSpot APIs, and both developing and customizing HubSpot modules.
- Advanced skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design.
- Experience designing and executing HubSpot integrations with external systems.
- Highly organized with excellent requirements gathering and project management skills.
- Immediate availability for contract engagement is strongly preferred.
Non-Technical Requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across Marketing, IT, and leadership teams.
- Ability to balance technical depth with user-friendly design for marketing self-service.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as within a cross-functional team.
- A self-starter with the ability to “hit the ground running” and deliver results quickly.
