Position Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Excavator Operator with 5-10+ years in industrial, construction, or recycling environments. Join our team to safely and efficiently handle recyclable materials using heavy equipment in a fast-paced yard.
The starting wage for this position is $28.00-$30 hour depending on your skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to move, load, and sort materials with precision
- Perform equipment inspections and report issues promptly
- Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow all safety rules
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily production goals
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 - 10 years’ hands-on excavator operating experience
- Experience operating a 16–22 ton excavator with a vehicle-dismantling attachment is required
- Strong knowledge of safety and equipment operation
- Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to our Stittsville facility
- Team player with a solid work ethic
