Quality Portfolio Lead, Risk & Regulatory, Senior Manager, Global
About the role

Those in IT quality management at PwC Global will focus on enabling the delivery of high-quality IT solutions and services through effective quality assurance processes and methodologies. You will be responsible for implementing quality standards, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement in IT systems and processes. The Quality Portfolio Lead, Risk & Regulatory is responsible for leading quality assurance and testing strategy across a custom development–heavy portfolio supporting Risk and Regulatory solutions. This role partners closely with Product, Engineering, and Risk stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery of complex, custom-built applications that meet regulatory expectations, internal controls, and business outcomes.

- Lead the overall quality assurance strategy and testing efforts for a custom development portfolio supporting Risk & Regulatory solutions
- Manage end-to-end testing activities including test strategy, planning, execution, defect management, and reporting
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear, testable acceptance criteria within an Agile/Scrum delivery model
- Ensure test coverage includes regulatory scenarios, exception handling, auditability, and traceability requirements
- Drive the adoption of test automation frameworks to improve test speed, accuracy, and confidence in continuous delivery environments
- Provide thought leadership on testing tools, methodologies, performance testing, and quality practices
- Oversee vendor and third-party testing deliverables to ensure alignment with internal quality standards
- Work collaboratively across delivery teams and stakeholders, taking ownership of outcomes with minimal supervision
- Develop deep domain knowledge of Risk & Regulatory processes to balance business needs, quality, and delivery risk

- Strong understanding of SDLC for custom-built solutions and complex integrations
- Experience applying automated testing frameworks in Agile environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale testing efforts and manage multiple stakeholders concurrently
- Preferred fields of study: Information Technology, Computer Systems Analysis, Management Information Systems. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Foundations Certification preferred

The salary range for this position is $121,900 - $203,200. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
