Job Description:
Major Job Functions:
- On-Site Parts Coordination related to customer equipment maintenance, and repairs.
- Ensure accurate required by dates are entered into the software system.
- Prepare for, and attend daily customer meetings, communicating estimated delivery dates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Complete Pre Task Assessments.
- Communicate shipping options and freight estimates to the Service Operations team.
- Follow up on requests from the Service Operations team, remaining accountable until the transaction is complete.
- General housekeeping – A place for everything and everything in its place.
- Attend all TEAMS meetings, micro learnings, and trainings requested by the Regional Parts Manager.
- Parts identification and tracking to support the business.
- Sourcing and ordering of new, reman and used parts.
- Work with the CAT buyers through the ticketing system
- Cycle counts, Red Data monitoring, picking, shipping and receiving of the consigned inventory on site.
- Develop and maintain internal and external relationships.
- Coordination of Component Core returns with the Mildred Lake facility.
- Participate in parts related special projects and assignments.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Journeyperson Parts Certification coupled with previous parts, warehouse, front counter, sales experience and Caterpillar product knowledge
- A high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships
- Clearly demonstrate enthusiasm about their work and must be able to function effectively and purposefully in a dynamic environment
- Ability to deal with difficult situations and potentially unhappy customers
- Capable of working with minimal supervision
- Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience
- Experience with SIS, Lawson M3, and the MS Office Package will be considered assets
- Industry experience in the following areas would be considered strong assets to a successful candidacy: Mining, Heavy Construction and Technology Products.

- This position is based at Syncrude on a 14x14 continuous shift (days/nights) rotation
- Candidate selection will be in compliance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
