Assistant Event Coordinator

Olympic View Golf Club is an 18-hole championship golf course with a superb practice facility, Golf Academy, Event Space and Table Nineteen Restaurant + Patio + Bar. Located in beautiful Victoria, Olympic View delivers on the golfing and culinary experience with exceptional service, stunning scenery, spectacular waterfalls and meticulous course conditioning.

The Assistant Event Coordinator shows proficiency in organizing, communicating, and problem solving while assisting with Wedding and Event coordination. They will work closely with a fun and motivated Team that works together to make our client’s day extra special.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO

  • Consult with clients to discuss event vision, details, and budget and help their vision become a reality.
  • Assist Sales and Event Manager with Wedding and Event preparation tasks, prepare event timelines, floor plans, BEO’s and setup details.
  • Conduct site tours and participate in planning meetings.
  • Maintain communication updates regarding upcoming events.
  • Provide administrative, sales, marketing and budget support to the Events Team.
  • Assist in coordinating all aspects of weddings and events, from initial planning to event-day execution, including supervising and managing staff, ensuring all details meet and exceed client expectations.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 1+ years of administration and events experience.

  • Experience in managing and leading events.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and thrives under pressure.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

  • Strong planning and execution skills.

  • Amazing interpersonal skills.
