**Position:**Clinical Supervisor
**Work Location:40 Begbie Street, New Westminster(partial remote work available)
**Hours:15 hours per week(some weekend/evening availability required)
Salary:$40 per hour
Job Type:Part-time, Hybrid option(requires at least one full day on-site per week)

The Opportunity
The Clinical Supervisor has the responsibility for providing clinical supervision and consultation to Purpose staff who provide clinical counselling and other mental health and crisis support services. This position will also collaborate with the management team to develop staff training plans and facilitate professional development opportunities.
What You Will Do

Provide monthly individual clinical supervision to assigned employees. Additional support may include group supervision, consultation, and debriefing.

Monitor and ensure provision of high-quality, competent, client-centered mental health services, delivered in an ethical and professional manner.

Collaborate with Program Directors and Coordinators to address areas of concern and/or identify professional development needs.

Prepare and/or facilitate staff training on topics such as mental health support, trauma informed practice, self-care, etc.

Coordinate with assigned employees to develop work schedule based around varying staff schedules.
What We Are Looking For
-
Master’s degree or higher in Counselling, Social Work, or related field is required.

Must be registered with a professional/regulatory body (e.g., BCCSW, BCACC, CCPA). Current certification, or designation as an Approved Clinical Supervisor preferred.

Minimum of five years of post-graduate clinical counselling experience, including at least two years of practical experience working with marginalized communities, providing counselling to individuals (children, youth & adults), couples, and families.

Must have at least one year of recent supervisory experience.

Working knowledge of various therapeutic modalities such as emotion-focused, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Working knowledge and experience in crisis support and intervention.

Experience developing and facilitating training for community-based social service or related organizations (e.g., trauma informed practice, crisis response).

Valid First-Aid/CPR and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certifications.

Well-developed interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Must be organized, with excellent time management skills.

As a condition of employment all employees must pass a Criminal Records check.

Flexibility to work some evening and/or weekend hours.
-
Must be available to work at least one full day per week on-site in New Westminster.
