Role Description The External Process Controller is a full-time hybrid role based in Toronto, ON, with the flexibility to perform some duties from home. This role oversees and coordinates external maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) processes, ensuring that landing gear activities follow established procedures and quality standards. Daily responsibilities include monitoring external vendor performance, tracking work orders and shipments, maintaining accurate documentation, and communicating requirements and updates to internal teams and clients. The External Process Controller will analyze process performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance. The role also involves collaboration with logistics, procurement, and technical staff to ensure timelines, costs, and regulatory obligations are met.

Qualifications

Experience in process control, operations coordination, or supply chain management within aviation, aerospace, or a related technical industry. Strong skills in workflow tracking, documentation management, and basic data analysis using tools such as spreadsheets and ERP or MRO systems. Ability to communicate clearly with vendors, internal stakeholders, and clients, including writing concise reports and status updates. Knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes, landing gear components, or MRO operations is highly beneficial. Attention to detail and a structured approach to monitoring timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Comfort working in a hybrid environment, managing tasks both on-site in Toronto, ON and remotely, with strong time management and self-organization. Post-secondary education in aviation management, engineering technology, business, or a related field is an asset; equivalent experience will be considered.
