JOB SUMMARY

The Operations Manager – Deliveries is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s final mile operations. They coordinate home delivery operations from businesses direct to the end consumer ensuring accurate and one-time shipments. They are also responsible for planning, organizing and leading the activities of the Final Mile Team.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Route Audits (random and unannounced delivery audits)
• Collaboration, development and updating of delivery training materials
• Comprehensive knowledge of all Client/Retailer SOP’s
• NPS awareness, auditing and improvement programs
• Assist Delivery Partners with Delivery Partner documents and renewals (1st level of escalation)
• Regular participation in dock meetings and load outs
• Assist in managing all operations team personal – hiring, scheduling, development
• Create and manage solutions for peaks and valleys of volume with our customers
• Maintain targets, objectives and customer driven KPI’s and metrics
• Manage SOP adherence and identify potential gaps for continuous improvement
• Perform annual reviews for all delivery operations group employees
• Manage Delivery Partners ensuring drivers are following all SOPs when performing deliveries
• Manage billing for all Dedicated Accounts and some comingle accounts
• Manage hours/payroll for all delivery operations employees
• Assist escalate Customer Service issues
• Create and Manage new processes for all Final Mile operations as the business needs
• Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in Final Mile Operations or a similar leadership position
• 5 years of proven success in Final Mile or similar industry
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English in both written and oral forms
