The Role
We are hiring a Divisional Controller to join our team of accounting professionals. This role will work out of our Saint John, NB or Blacks Harbour, NB office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing a team
- Completing period end financial statements and management reports, working paper files and ad hoc reporting
- Continuous process improvement
- Be involved, periodically, in projects to support the overall accounting and finance team
- Coordinating the requests of the external auditors for both the interim and year end audit tasks
A successful candidate will possess:
- Professional accounting designation preferred
- University degree in accounting or finance
- 5 years plus of relevant experience in a management role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Valid passport required for travel to other non-Canadian operations (when permitted)
