At Gateway Pet Hospital, we love taking care of your loyal companions. For more than a decade we’ve been a full-service small animal clinic serving Kitchener and surrounding areas. As a full-service animal facility, we're proud to provide a wide variety of veterinary medical services for dogs and cats including but not limited to: pet wellness and vaccination programs, dental care, radiography imaging, bloodwork, and surgeries.

Our Culture Gateway Pet Hospital is a well-equipped neighborhood clinic which has been in its current modern South Kitchener location since 2011. We respect and admire the strength and importance of the human-animal bond. Fear Free Certified We firmly believe that Fear Free techniques revolutionize the veterinary industry by prioritizing the emotional well-being of animals, creating a stress-free and positive experience during their healthcare visits. We are happy to provide our clients with tips, tools, and information on Fear Free and making each trip to the veterinarian as stress-free as possible.

About The Role Our candidate must have:

  • Animal Health Technician / Veterinary Technician Diploma
  • Passed the VTNE
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as RVT
  • Must be comfortable in surgery
  • Good standing with their provincial regulatory association
  • Available to work evenings and weekends
