Reporting to the C-Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
- Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Provide pump island and in-store service; serve guests, dispense fuel and propane, operate the point-of-sale system (POS), stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties.
- Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedure, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to tobacco, liquor, lottery and fireworks.
- Knowledge working understanding of the POS system, pumps, propane.
- Receive, price and display merchandise as required as specified by the team leader.
- Complete the necessary daily reconciliations and reports.
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

- You can work unsupervised, plan, and organize your own work.
- You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
- You are attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills.
- You have an ability to fulfill physical job requirements – standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly.
- You have POS experience and can work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.
- You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- You must be willing to obtain WHMIS, propane dispensing certifications.
