We have immediate openings for Clinical Instructors within our Practical Nursing (PN) and Health Care Assistant (HCA) Programs across the Lower Mainland.

  • Location: Long Term Care Facilities located in Kamloops
  • **Employment Type:**Contract
  • Compensation: $36.00-$57.00
  • Schedule: November to December 2026 (150 hours). The dates can be flexible to support your availability.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide Mentorship- You were once where the students are; share your insight on the industry, monitor their progress, provide on-going feedback and help support their learning.
  • Be a Liaison - Represent Stenberg College and uphold the ideals of our institutions

There is a full curriculum for each course and a thorough orientation will take place prior to stepping into the clinical environments.

Who You Are:

    • You have current full registration with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
    • (BCCNM) as an LPN or RN and are in good standing
    • You have a demonstrated an ability to teach adult learners
    • Two or more years of full-time Canadian nursing experience as an LPN or RN
    • Experience in working with older adults with complex health needs; and
    • Experience or orientation in home support and multi-level/complex care
    • You have completed the Student Practice Education Core Orientation (SPECO) curriculum, and all courses are up to date. SPECO curriculum can be found here.

    NOTE: It is mandatory for all Clinical, Lab, and Practice Education instructors to comply with the BC Care Aide Registry, BCCNM, and HSP Net practice education guidelines.
