Purpose of the role
Under the supervision of the management team, he/she is responsible for distributing merchandise within the distribution center. He/she ensures the accuracy of received goods and performs the necessary follow-ups within the required timeframes to maintain efficient and precise product flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive merchandise and verify its accuracy against the packing slip;
- Lift boxes and place them on pallets;
- Open shipments and distribute items to stores based on the purchase order document;
- Ensure barcodes (SKUs) match the styles, colors, and sizes in the system, and follow up with the supervisor if discrepancies are found;
- Seal full boxes and send them to the scanning department;
- Complete a daily distribution report once the order’s merchandise has been fully distributed;
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the distribution center and assist other departments as needed; Perform any other related tasks
Your Profile
- Cross-functional collaboration: You enjoy working with others and contributing to a positive and productive environment;
- Attention to detail: You demonstrate precision and thoroughness in everything you do;
- Physical fitness: You’re able to regularly lift medium weights ranging from 25 to 45 pounds;
- Endurance and agility: You’re comfortable with varied positions (bending, standing, squatting) for extended periods; Adaptability in a dynamic environment: You adjust quickly, even when the pace picks up
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Three months to one year of relevant experience.
- Comfortable using technological tools (scanner, computer system).
