Greenfield is looking for an HRIS (Dayforce) Applications Administrator to join our growing team.
Position Overview
The HRIS Applications Administrator is responsible for supporting, configuring, and managing HR‑related applications to ensure system reliability, data quality, and strong alignment with business objectives. This role maintains, deploys, and supports Greenfield’s HR and People & Culture application ecosystem, including Dayforce and connected platforms. Greenfield operates in a 24/7 environment, and some responsibilities may require occasional off‑hours work to support system updates, releases, or issue resolution.

Your Experience Should Include
- Completion of a related technical post-secondary diploma/degree.
- 5+ years of strong knowledge administering HRIS platforms (Dayforce strongly preferred).
- Hands-on experience with LMS administration and digital learning tools.
- Knowledge of employee incentive systems, OKR platforms, and e-signature solutions is an asset.
- Experience working with integration technologies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Active Directory, SAML SSO, conditional access, and role-based access control.
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 administrative tools (user accounts, licensing, groups, SharePoint Online) is an asset.
- Strong understanding of data security, least privilege access principles, and compliance requirements.
- Experience performing reporting and analytics using HRIS tools, Power BI, or other BI platforms.
- Prior work in sandbox/production environments with formal release management processes (Azure DevOps experience preferred).
- Knowledge of auditing practices, data governance frameworks, and data quality management.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn new systems and features.
- Experience working with HR, Payroll, Talent, and Data Governance teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and support Dayforce modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Performance, Recruiting, Onboarding, and HR workflows.
- Act as primary point of contact for system level administration of learning management system
- Support additional HR technology platforms such as employee incentive systems, OKR solutions, and e-signature tools.
- Prioritize and troubleshoot incoming ticket escalations and tasks in accordance with the set SLAs, working closely with IT Service Desk members and coordinating with vendors as required.
- Oversee user account lifecycle processes, including onboarding flows from Dayforce to Active Directory.
- Manage and monitor integrations using enterprise integration tools to ensure accurate data flow between HRIS, LMS, AD, Microsoft 365, Finance, and other business systems.
- Maintain secure authentication and access configurations using Azure Active Directory, SAML SSO, MFA, and least privilege role management.
- Create, test, and deploy configuration changes and enhancements using controlled DevOps release in the sandbox and production environments.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of HRIS and LMS reporting, dashboards to support HR, payroll, learning, compliance, and executive needs.
- Monitor system health, performance, and data quality using available system tools and IT monitoring platforms.
- Perform regular auditing of user access, role assignments, data integrity, and compliance controls.
- Assist HR and Data Governance teams with policy enforcement, data stewardship activities, and privacy/security requirements.
- Stay current with product updates, new features, and industry best practices.
- Automate and enhance application workflows.
- Lead and manage projects as it relates to new software deployments, software upgrades, and feature enhancements.
- Contribute to the overall Objectives & Key results assigned to the Business Applications team.
- Establish and review system, application, and user security controls while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Create and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation, including application architectural diagrams, installation/operational procedures, test plans and troubleshooting guidelines
- Foster an environment of learning and growth by mentoring and collaborating with junior IT team members.
- Follow Information Technology policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Total Compensation & Care
- Base salary dependent on experience and demonstrated performance – the salary range for a HRIS Applications Administrator is currently $90,000 - $105,000
