**Duration:**May – August 2026 (approximately 12–16 weeks)
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Occupational Health & Safety student to support our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) program. This is a great opportunity for a student currently enrolled in an OHS, safety, or related program to gain hands-on experience in a real-world work environment.
The successful candidate will support administrative and field-related safety activities, assist with documentation, and help maintain our safety systems and training records.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the HSE department
- Work on various safety-related tasks, such as updating the Safety Manual and creating forms
- Assist with general safety documentation, forms, and reports as required
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution (college or university)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous office or customer service experience is an asset

Assets
- Previous exposure to HSE documentation or safety programs
- Familiarity with safety legislation (e.g., WorkSafeBC, OHS Regulations)
