THE ROLE:
Reporting directly to the Field Foreman, the Maintenance Lead plays a key role in advancing operational efficiency within the Integrated Operations program. This position focuses on identifying process enhancements, managing quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) inspections, and overseeing third-party maintenance staff. Join our team to contribute to a more efficient and reliable operations environment that drives success.
This exciting opportunity is based at a camp approximately 1.5 hours north of Fort St. John, BC. You'll enjoy a stable schedule with a standardized 15-day on, 13-day off rotation. This is a safety sensitive position, and therefore you are required to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:
- Drive the company’s methodology for requisitioning, planning, and scheduling maintenance activities
- Identify inefficiencies and collaborate with leadership to drive enhancements and complete high-priority tasks
- Serve as the primary liaison for third-party maintenance services. Establish KPIs, track vendor performance, and report findings to senior leadership
- Oversee the operating schedule for maintenance services, ensuring adequate staffing in alignment with operational needs
- Set performance benchmarks and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance productivity, including conducting thorough QA/QC assessments
- Contribute to vendor RFP evaluations by reviewing technical expertise and cost submissions to ensure alignment with project requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for comprehensive vendor selection based on best practices
- Monitor and resolve deficiencies in assets transferred from the Facilities department to Operations within specified timelines
WHAT YOU BRING:
- 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, ideally with a certification in mechanical or electrical maintenance
- Expertise in diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues swiftly to enhance operational efficiency
- Proven leadership in managing maintenance teams, promoting teamwork, collaboration, clear communication, and effective task delegation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal results
- In-depth knowledge of the operating area, enabling efficient scheduling and logistical management of maintenance tasks
- Ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic environments, excelling at managing competing priorities and making well-informed decisions to navigate challenges and opportunities
