Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Moncton Campus- 1070 St George Blvd, Moncton, NB E1E 4K7
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm
Start Date: Immediate
The Opportunity
The primary purpose of the Administrative Assistant role is to create and manage exceptional first impressions for everyone who interacts with Eastern College. This position requires a friendly, confident, and highly organized individual who serves as the first point of contact for visitors, students, and external stakeholders. The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in ensuring every interaction is welcoming, professional, and positive, helping to establish the strong first impression that is essential to a successful admissions experience.
What you'll be doing
Manage and direct incoming telephone calls. Greet all visitors to the campus. Carry out campus opening and/or closing procedures if required. Provide support to the Campus Director, Program Administrator, and other staff members. Provide administrative support to support daily campus operations. Manage and maintain stationery levels and consumables. Make calls to absent students on a daily basis as per the attendance policies and procedures. Maintains the certificate board. Other duties as assigned.
What you bring to the position
Minimum college diploma from a business-related program. Minimum of one (1) year of administrative experience. Minimum two (2) years of proven success in customer service is required. Computer literacy with MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook). Experience with Contact Management Software. Knowledge of integrated telephone systems. Excellent communication skills.
