Scope
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Clerk 4 to join the Public Safety department. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities effectively.
Responsibilities
Accurately and promptly take minutes during meetings to document discussions and decisions for future reference.
Prepare professional and engaging PowerPoint presentations and other documents for internal and external communication.
Respond to public inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally, directing them to the appropriate sections as needed.
Assist in the development and documentation of new departmental procedures.
Provide high-level administrative support to the Administrative Coordinator, ensuring efficient handling of all administrative tasks.
Manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced work environment, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Qualifications
Completion of Grade 12, supplemented by completion of several business courses at a post-secondary level.
Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible and diversified clerical experience including some supervisory experience.
A minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute is required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
