Position: Deployment Clerk (Full Time)
Schedule: Days/afternoons
Location: Victoria Hospital, London, Ontario (On Site)
Pre-employment Requirements:
Police Record Check - Final Copy
Complete Immunization Records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis A and B, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio, TB Skin Tests - Steps 1 and 2)
Sodexo is growing! We are looking for a Deployment Clerk to join our dynamic team. This position is Permanent Full Time**.** You will be offered is a great team environment, work/life balance and the ability to ensure customer satisfaction.
Under supervision, the Bed Board Deployment Clerk is a valuable member of the Sodexo Team and has a significant impact on the efficient and effective operation of the bed board management function. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the appropriate and efficient placement of deploying beds to Victoria Hospital and University Hospital housekeepers for cleaning, transfer, and discharge. This position is responsible for maintaining management of the bed board access and flow for the organization providing a central resource for the client. This position has an integral function in monitoring the timely follow up and completion of discharge cleaning.
Qualifications
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Minimum of 1 year bed board management experience in a hospital setting is considered an asset
Minimum of 1 year completed in a post secondary Administration/Medical Office Administration Program is considered an asset
Demonstrated customer service focus
Well developed keyboarding/computer skills with a minimum keyboarding speed of 45 wpm and experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Cerner Capacity Management
Effective time management and organizational skills
Experience problem solving and working in a fast paced environment
Demonstrated excellent verbal and communication skills
Demonstrated excellence in conflict resolution skills and handling difficult conversations
Demonstrated committment to Health and Safety standards and working in compliance with related policies, Health and Safety Legislation, and best practices
