Salary Range: $36.84 - $50.24 /hour

The successful candidate will be assigned to work within mammography.

We are seeking a dedicated Mammography Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) to join our high-performing and collaborative Breast Care team. In this role, you will perform advanced mammographic imaging and interventional procedures while delivering compassionate, patient- centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment. . The successful candidate will demonstrate technical excellence, strong clinical judgment, and a commitment to continuous professional growth. The candidate will be expected to perform, or actively develop competency in, advanced mammographic procedures including digital breast tomosynthesis, contrast mammography, contrast-enhanced stereotactic biopsies, and pre-operative localizations.

As a Registered Technologist, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team that is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Your role will involve continuous skill enhancement and knowledge acquisition, reflecting our commitment to professional development. You will be responsible for maintaining competency and adhering to the standards set forth by the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO).

Essential Qualifications

  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Certificate in Breast Imaging or willingness to obtain
  • Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
  • Capable of performing various technical procedures requiring independent judgment with skill, ingenuity and initiative
  • Experience working in a fast-paced diagnostic and/or interventional imaging environment
  • Ability to function effectively in high-volume settings, prioritizing competing demands
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and collaborate with service teams to minimize downtime
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to support complex patients
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in French would be an asset
  • Two years' experience as a Mammography Technologist

Teaching and Research

  • St. Joseph's Health Care London through its affiliation with Western University and Fanshawe College is a leading research and teaching hospital. As an employee of St. Joseph's, you will be expected to engage in role related teaching and research activities in addition to any of your clinical duties

Immunization Requirements

  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, COVID-19 and influenza.
  • Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
