We are searching for a Chef de Partie to join our team, who can hit the ground running in our Meetings & Events Kitchen.
You will be expected to run a service within the kitchen and manage junior team members to ensure the food goes out to the highest standard

- Flexible and Adaptable to different demands
- Works well in a team but can also be a self starter
- Reliable
- Willing to learn
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of dishes using the best fresh & local produce.
- Run a section/function within the kitchen
- Train junior chefs to work to expected standards
- Taking pride in being responsible for helping to deliver high-quality food for our guests
- Working across all kitchens within the Rudding Park estate, helping you get an understanding of the whole business
- Working well in a busy kitchen and thrive under pressure.
- Team player and who can respectfully communicate to the team
- Be reliable, hardworking, trustworthy and passionate in your work
- Experience of working in a busy kitchen and thrive under pressure.
- Can deal with deliveries and stock rotation
- Maintain kitchen hygiene standard at all times
- Following all health & safety / COSHH protocol
- Do all the above whilst following the core values of Rudding Park
- Be aware of Health and Safety
In return for your hard work and commitment we offer:
- Enhanced pay - 50p per hour for evening work after 7pm (Sunday - Thursday), £1 per hour for weekend day work until 7pm (Saturdays and Sundays), £1.50 per hour for evenings from 7pm (Friday and Saturdays)
- Service Charge (Tronc) earn up to an additional £5,000 per year
- Company sick pay for up to 4 weeks
- A range of discounts including 50% off spa days and dining, not to mention preferential room rates for employees and family (subject to availability of course)
- Annual party, family fun days, and award dinners - we love to celebrate!
- Up to 30 days annual leave, increasing with length of service
- Complimentary overnight stay for you and a guest (including dinner, bed and breakfast with spa) when you complete a three month probation
