Our Headquarters in Kingsville, ON is currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic IT team! We’re looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with strong networking skills and solid experience supporting on-prem systems, who can also work confidently in an Azure-based datacenter environment. Our footprint blends Azure cloud, physical site servers, and a large multi-site network. You’ll support and improve the infrastructure that keeps our facilities running—firewalls, switching, wireless, servers, backups, storage, and warehouse mobility technology. This is a hands-on role requiring ownership, strong communication, and the ability to run projects independently.

Primary Responsibilities:

Networking

  • Support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across multiple sites, including Fortinet firewalls, Cisco switching, Cisco wireless, and SD-WAN (VeloCloud/Arista).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex LAN/WAN, VPN, routing, segmentation, DNS/DHCP, and wireless issues.
  • Maintain network reliability, performance, and connectivity between sites and cloud resources.

Systems & On-Premises Infrastructure

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows servers, VMware/Hyper-V environments, and storage systems.
  • Administer core services including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Support on-site server hardware and ensure stability of local compute environments.

Azure & Cloud Infrastructure

  • Support and maintain workloads within the organization’s Azure infrastructure, including Azure AD / Entra ID, Azure VMs, VNets, routing, and hybrid identity.

  • Troubleshoot connectivity and integration between Azure and on-prem systems.

Backup, Continuity & Security

  • Manage and monitor backup and recovery operations to ensure data protection and availability.
  • Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and ongoing improvements.
  • Implement infrastructure security best practices across on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Support privileged access, credentials, and identity-related security controls.

Project Leadership & Vendor Coordination

  • Lead infrastructure projects from planning through completion, including timelines, communication, technical execution, and vendor coordination.
  • Work with construction teams, contractors, and external partners during expansions, remodels, and new site builds.
  • Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations aligned to operational needs.

Documentation, Standards & Support

  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, diagrams, processes, and procedures using IT Glue.

  • Follow established change management, operational, and security processes.

  • Participate in the on-call rotation to support 24/7 operations and escalated issues.

Education/Preferred Qualifications:

Required

  • 3–5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, network engineering, or a similar role.

  • Strong technical competency in: Routing, switching, VLANs, wireless, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, Windows Server, VMware/Hyper-V, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Troubleshooting hybrid on-prem and cloud environments

  • Experience supporting Azure-based infrastructure (VMs, VNets, identity, storage).

  • Ability to manage and execute technical projects with minimal supervision.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across operations, leadership, and vendors.' Ability to operate in a fast-moving, multi-site environment with shifting priorities.

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a collaborative, humble approach.

  • A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to anticipate issues and take initiative.

  • Experience working in warehouse, greenhouse, manufacturing, or other always-on operational environments.

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools, infrastructure documentation, and vendor management.

Working Environment

  • Multi-site greenhouse and warehouse operations requiring occasional travel.

  • 24/7 operational environment; participation in an on-call rotation is required.
